We’ve completed many school building construction projects on behalf of the Ministry of Education, the Catholic Diocese of Christchurch and school Boards of Trustees directly. In our work we’ve completed new construction of schools, school refurbishment, strengthening and relocation projects.
Our work has also included accessibility upgrades, modern learning environment (MLE) conversions and special needs projects. Examples include projects with occupation therapists and the Blind Foundation to ensure the needs of individuals with special needs are met to an exceptional standard.
We understand the active school environment and the importance of strict site safety, as well as the pressure on schools to have buildings ready for the beginning of a school term.
We are accustomed to working through holiday periods (including Christmas) to deliver a school building construction project for the beginning of the school year.
Critically, we have passed every single final building inspection on school sites, and we have always been successful in obtaining a Code of Compliance Certificate to enable the building to be used as per the required occupation date.
